Pflhclpaf iQ Message MR. CALEB G. BROWN Men and women who live above and beyond the frustrations of the day are the greatest need of the hour. We are all creatures of the day in which we live. We must strive to find serenity in the' midst of stress, hurry, and confusion as well as to recover high courage and adequate enthusiasm to meet the challenge of the day. In these, perhaps the most confusing and perplexing days in the world's history, we all need new strength for living as we seek to maintain an inner sense of security. We need fresh strength and trust, not only to allay our fears and anxieties, but also to gain wisdom and direction for intelligent participation in our nation's intricate problems: to selflessly help meet the want and suffering of the world's millionsg and especially to find guidance in making our own most effective contribution to world peace. In these days, we have tapped the sources of the universe for power and speed, but so far we have not found a way to use these discoveries for the good of mankind. By daily renewal of ourselves in God's presence, we may discover that our appointed duty is to make a holy place in at least one spot on earth from which will radiate an influence toward the achievement of hope, compassion, and peace far more powerful and far-reaching than we realize.
