EDITORIAL STAFF B-HI E The B-Hive is published eight times a year to inform the students of school activities. Material for the paper is written by students interested in journalistic writing. The Business Staff of B-Hive has charge of the financial matters of the paper. The staff campaigns for subscriptions and solicits advertisements from local businessmen. It also controls receipts and payments for the distri- bution of each issue. An editorial board serves as officers. The sponsors are Mrs. Irene Oschmann and Mr. Thomas Sheehan. 69

CLUB COUNCIL The Bergenfield High School Club Council was organized for the pur- pose of representing all clubs in the Bergenfield High School Student Con- gress. lt recommends the formation of new clubs and the dissolution of inactive clubs, and it assists the Director of Activities in the scheduling of club meetings. lt also assists in the instruction of all club officers in Roberts' Rules of Parliamentary Procedure, as well as in orienting new students as to the school's club program. The officers are: Frances Mazzilli, Presidentg Joyce Remes, Vice Pres- identg Louise Miller, Secretaryg Carol Von Frank, Treasurer. The sponsor is Mr. R. Everett Hunter. 68

TRI-HI-Y The Tri-Hi-Y is an international girls' organization affiliated with the Y.M.C.A. lts purpose is to instill in its members high standards of Christian ideals. Activities of the club include the induction of new members in a joint service with the Hi-Y, the sale of sports programs and the donation of a Thanksgiving basket to a needy family in Bergenfield. Using the proceeds from program sales, the Tri-Hi-Y joined the Hi-Y in landscaping one of the school courtyards. The club's social activities include a Mother and Daughter Tea and an annual winter weekend at Holiday Hills. The officers are: Louise Miller, President, Barbara Glover, Vice Presi- dent, Veronica Rota, Secretary, Susan Cameron, Treasurerg Jane Bowen, Historiang Carolyn Camillo, Chaplain. The sponsor is Miss Marie Dolce. HI-Y The purpose of the Hi-Y is to create, maintain, and extend throughout the home, school, and community, high standards of Christian character. Some of the activities of the club are the sale of football programs at football games, the joint induction of new members with the Tri-Hi-Y, and participation in YMCA conferences. The officers are: Rolf Peterson, Presidentg John Sarver, Vice President, Eric Rasmussen, Secretaryg Gary Facente, Treasurerg Geoffrey Wood, Chaplain, Bob Sherwood, Historian. The sponsor is Mr. Thomas Cullen.
