'f ll ll,l The Class of l96l, travel on into the future, we will carry with us our high school memories, which will have a lasting influence on our lives. Now let us turn back the pages of time to l958 and review the past three years. As sophomores, we had many new challenges and responsibilities. One of these was the problem of class funds-a partial solution to which was found in our successful magazine drive. Another was the placing of the first honors course on the shoulders of our maturing class. We accomplished these things and everything else that was set before us under the leadership of Bryan Nogaki, our class president, Pierce, our class adviser. t'.-i'ri The next year brought new and exciting changes, as juniors, we entered senior high school with a new class president, Larry Holmes, and a new adviser, Mr. Grasso. But along with the new, there was still the old--the prob- lem oficlass funds, which we met with a rewarding stationery drive. Even amid the ii,, new and the old, our class showed its individuality by being tlhe first 1.,b ave its own Junior Prom, Heaven on Earth. remembrances of our senior year surpass all others. However, these accomplishments, for our varsity football team came out on itopilandfilinfler the leadership of seniors, John Mulfinger and Bob Boehm, our varsity basketball team captured the Don Bosco Tournament, the B.C.S.L. title, and thefunofficial county title. These winning ways were continued by our varsity jcheerljeaders, who took the Westwood Cheering Competition. Another won with its unity was the privilege of having its Senior Day, enjoyed. But of all these events, new or old, the most Of the past three years, these memories are the most prominent.
