FRANK LUS Ginge is one of our quiet- est seniors. He has hopes of going into office work, but the Army will have first call. Swimming Club Airplane Club LAWRENCE MALONE We won't forget Larry, a tall, rather slim, good-loolv ing fellow, whose main inter- ests are athletics and girls. Baseball Camera Club TONE MINKO Tone, a happy go-lucky fel- low, is one of whom we saw very little this year. He left early to join the Navy. DOUGLAS LYVERE Doug is certainly one of the best known fellows in our class. He left early this year to loin the Marines. We are sure he will do his part now over there. Football Basketball CAROL MANNA The more you know her, the better you like her. She is sweet, sincere, and reliable. Basketball Red Cross JUNE MIZRAK Nick, a member of our newspaper staff, can easily be recognized by her iovial gait and hearty laughter. Newspaper Staff Student Council ANTHONY K MALDONATO Tony's favorite sports are tumbling and soccer. His im- partial attitude and modesty will make him many friends. Soccer A Cappella Choir ELSIE MASSAR Els' likes to sketch pictures: may want to do it as a pro- fession. lf you've met her, you like her. Art Club Yearbook Staff RICHARD MONTGOMERY Monty's willingness when there was work to be done has given him a high stand- ing among his fellow stud- ents. He has fulfilled his ambition by entering the U. S. Navy. Basketball Dance Club HELEN MAERTENS Although Nell is quiet, she is liked by all her friends. We never hear much from her, but once in awhile she adds a little wit to her classes. Softball Knitting Club NORMAN MlGLlORATO Miggy, our class Casano- va, is interested in dancing. CARL LARSEN Both well-known and well- liked, Swede constantly seeks recreation which he usually finds in the boys' Hgymui Football Basketball RICHARD KABBEL This lanky fellow has one prime interest in life-flying. You'll have your chance now, Dick. Tumbling Scenery Committee FRAN K KOLB Kolbie, who has dancing feet and plenty of rhythm, is always a lot of fun. Football Weight Club MILDRED LARSON Mill is one of our musical students who played the bass in the All-State Orchestra. Junior Play All-State Orchestra MARY KERSHAW Although quiet, Dolly has left evidences of herself throughout the school with her artistic ability. Art Club Newspaper Staff MURIEL KYNE Penny is as bright and cheerful as her name sug- gests. Her sincere friendli- ness and sparkling personality have made her everybody's favorite. Cheerleader Dance Club ANTHONY LIBONATI Libby , the fellow with the smiling personality, talks in- cessantly and breezes out of homeroom like a spring zey- pher. Office Helper NORMAN KLEY Normie's corny jokes are an institution around school, but when they are accompanied by his bright personality we don't mind a bit. Movie Club Soccer BERNICE LAHM Although Bernice's hobbies are sewing and dancing, she has all intentions of work- ing in a defense plant.
