As moderator of the band, Showtime, and' B.0.B., his capable leadership is constantly reflected. Bro. received his B.S. in Education and' his M.A. in French from Fordham University, and 'has furthered his study at Laval University. Brother is a tennis tan and has a keen interest in art. fiat REV. BRO. MICHAEL S. MCELHATTON Ably directing the complex task of moderating the Crusader, Brother is presently in his third year at Bergen teaching French, Religion and Spanish. His credits include a B.A. from Iona College and, at present, is studying at Seton Hall for his M.A. Only this past summer Brother studied at L'Institut Catholique in Paris grid Ltoured France extensively. VILLECCO MODERN LANGUAGE CHAIRMAN Bergen is fortunate to have on its faculty this year Brother Villecco who, at present, is teaching Spanish and Religion. Besides heading our Modern Language department, Bro. also moderates the Spanish Club and is our Athletic Moderator. His numerous degrees include a B.A. from Iona College, a M.A. from St. John's University, and a Ph.D. from Universidad Interamericana. These credits are further complemented by Brother's studies at L'Institut Catholique in Paris. Bro. also is an avid enthusiast of lbasehall and golf. e -v 5'm 2 ks.,- REV. BRO. JOSEPH S. SMITH ln his eight years at Bergen, Brother Smith has skillfully managed the school library as Library Assistant, a task he held for six years at Iona College. This year Brother is teaching Religion and French. He is recipient of a B.S. from Ford- ham University, has an M.S. in Library Science from Columbia University, and has done extensive MR. JAMES J. OBROTKA Now in his tenth year, one of Bergen's Mr. Obrotka has exhibited his adept talent in directing our fine band. This is teaching English and Spanish.
