RELIGIO DEPARTME T me REV. BRO. JOHN L. GILCHRIST RELIGION CHAIRMAN Assigned with the instruction of Religion and English, Bro. Gilchrist has coupled this task with a fervent desire to make Bergen a better school. For seven years, his lasting intluence has reaped praise from former students. A true educator, Bro. graduated from Iona with a B.A. in History and from St. John's with a M.A. in Theology. MR. JAMES E. SOK Probably no other teacher in B.C. has instilled the desire to do well as has Mr. Sok. His personal enthusiasm has led to the establishment at our constantly successful track and cross-country teams. ln addition to being the Physical Education in- structor, Mr. Sok also teaches Religion. He came from Montclair College where he received his B.S. in Physical Education, and from N.Y.U. where he earned his M.A. in Education. REV. BRO. RONALD A. HOWE In his second year at Bergen, Brother Howe's teaching assignmehts include Religion and His- tory. He received his B.A. from St. Basil's Col- lege and his M.A. at St. John's Universitv. Brother also moderates the Freshman and Soph- omore Football teams, and enioys swimming and reading in his leisure time. 11:-P' gli REV. BRO. JAMES G. GLOS Primarily concerned with their higher education, Bro. Gloss exerts a glowing influence on his students which is constantly reflected in their out- standing performance. Religion, Biology, and Chemistry are listed among his assignments this year. Brother earned his B.S. at lona and has done graduate work at Gonzaga University. When free, Bro. then, enioys tennis, basketball and reading. REV. BRO. GERALD M. WALDRON A candidate for his M.A. at Seton Hall, Brother Waldron comes to us from Iona College, where he received his B.A. lnstructing Religion and Latin, he previously has taught at Vancouver College. Brother couples his scholastic duties with his task as moderator of Bowling. Besides, Brother finds enioyment in painting, swimming, and hockey.

Mr. Webb devotes a great deal of his time and ettort after school helping students unravel the peculiarities of Math and has proven to be a fine asset to Bergen's faculty.
