The realization that he had merely exchanged the uncertainty and of life for everlasting happiness did not lessen the shock sorrow that dominated the human emotions of everyone .at Bergen. QI Brother Kelly's life had unity in purpose. He sought to foster pthe love of Christ and the love of the members of Christ's Mystical Body in those about him during his life as a Religious Brother, educator, superior, friend, and guide. Whether teaching a class or coaching the public speaking team, Brother's prime interest was in t e young man sitting before him. He never considered the subjects he taught as Q ends in themselves but rather as tools to be used in fashioning 5 the Well-rounded and mature Christian. To this focal point of his life and Work-the Christian youth-Brother offered true .end . . . . . . . . . ship signaled by a quick smile, an abiding interest in his and aspirations, and offered unseliish assistance to full extent of his capabilities.
