. . . Graduation... . Commencement was held May 26th, 1967. In some ways graduation was an ending; in some, a beginning. It was an end to all the wonderful days at Berea High School. Saying goodbye to dear old BHS and walking from the building for the last time as High School students was just as hard as saying good-bye to an old friend. It also was the beginning of a whole new future; for some, college life. Few seniors gave graduation much thought until the very night Commencement began. Whenever graduation was mentioned, it was tossed off with little discussion, and usually with only carefree remarks. Even when the caps and gowns arrived, we still didn't realize how close the end was. When that night came, however, we were suddenly awakened, and it seemed to be all over much too soon.
