The numerous friend- ships we have formed here— friendships among both students and faculty— shall be dominant among our memories. Our friendship with Miss Julia Allen will especially be remem- bered. Because of her untiring work, encouraging friendli- ness, patience, guidance, and leadership, we will remember her as an administrator, a teacher, and a personal friend. In recognition of her devoted service to Berea College, the Senior Class dedicates its 1960 CHIMES to JULIA ALLEN. 17 ■■.; . v .; : | _ ■■: -- : Mc ifc B 19 Senior Class Officers Dr. Gordon Ross, sponsor; Johanna Shoopman, secretary and treasurer; Carol Burr, vice-president; Frances Brannon, sponsor; Evelyn Hensley and Ron Reed, co-social chair- men; Ray Shaw, president. 20 Seniors Kenneth J Abbott Monticello, Kentucky B.A. Geology Naji G.
