The Freshmen learned early in the game how to maintain a deadlock. .Xre you playing politics, Freshies, or kill- ing time? FEBRUARY 2-Seniors sent out of class. Miss Robinson didn't have the heart to send the Freshmen back. 4-Girls improving in volley ball, but boys still like to instruct them. 5-Grade boys play Gaar of Cainbridge tonight, Seniors practice That's One on Hill. 6-llig game at Connersville tonight. 7MSaturday and school. Some day to gn to school, l'll tell the big Hat world. 9+l'oor Sophomoresl A three-hour test in Caesar, lYednesday. ll-This is the day of that Caesar test. Students campaigning for Maurice Jackson for Senator. ll-l'rogram today and Garnet Myers won the Lincoln Medal. She had to speak for it, though. 16-ll. H. S. lost to Raleigh last night. Freshmen have a party. 17-The morning' after the night before for Freshmen. 13-Seniors still at That's One on llillf' First team orders sweaters. l7on't see why, thought they all had one. 19-History class draws maps. .Xt least that's what they said they were. Seniors, we are waiting' to see what that was on Hill. 20-Mr. Stafford's mother visits school today. Horseshoes bring' bad luck. Marvin brought one to school today, but he had to give it to the janitor. Suppose .lake thought he would shoe his horse. -Free throw tourney held this afternoon. XYilliam Collier scored most points for boys. Elsie Manlove for girls. 26-The boys who petitioned that the laboratory be turned into a pool room are serving their time. They have found out that the less money one pledges the less time he has to serve. 27-B. H. S. lunior team plavs C. ll. S. luniors tonight. First and second teams play Milton. I i MARCH 2-juniors won by high score, 32-15. First and second teams lost. Mr. Stafford fell out of his chair. Oh, no! Prohibition law is still in effect. 3-Freshmen had to stay in because they did not have a good Latin lesson. That's what they get for Lack-in lesson. 4-Sophomores, hluniors, and Seniors went to hear Coolidge give his in- augural address. No, not to lYashington. D. Get your stockings darned and chimney cleaned out, Freshies. '7--lohn was attacked by the being'-sent-trut-of-class-itis. lO-Freshies had to stay in at noon. Remember Santa always asks if you have been good children. 17-Robbers in town. The good citizens assisted officers in pursuit of gang, efforts fruitless. Did some of the high school boys run the other way? Late to school and no themes. 15-Hurrah! No school. Furnace needed repairing. Faculty enjoyed day at Indianapolis. It is rumored they saw the Follies. lo-Two Seniors try to rival -lack Dempsey. Glenn was rather bloody, but Raymond seemed none the worse as a result of their attempt to settle their dispute by primitive methods. 17-Reviewing for exam tomorrow. XYe realize how little we do know. 22h.'Xfter a sleepless week-end, in which we were haunted by ghosts of what we inight have done, we learned our grades were only fair. Xyhere have our brilliant students gone? 23-Merry Xmas and a llappy and Prosperous New Year to you. JANUARY J-New Years resolutions in order: He, the Freshmen. resolve to study harder and play less in 1925. XVe, the Sophomores, resolve to study Caesar every day. We the Juniors, resolve to keep our record as spotless as it has been in the past. XYC, the Class of 1925, resolve that our example to others shall 'be above reproach. Step up, faculty, you're next. 6-Seniors have good time. Oh, those broken New Year's resolutions. 12-Freshman volley ball team won two games at noon. Good work. Freshies. 15-Everybody making posters. Connersville Glee Club Thursday night. 1-l-Look pleasant, please. Class, grades, team, step up and have your pictures taken for the annual. 15-County Superintendent, his son and Mr. Rayl visit school. I 'film ECHO ll-Most of the prisoners serving time because of the pool room petition were released today. You know, boys, it wouldn't be quite right to have a pool room in a l'liysics laboratory. ll-llave you seen Marvin today? lle has a new red sweater. John was afraid he would put it on backwards, so he put a B on the back. Suppose he forgot that ll stands for before. too. 13-We were a class without a teacher this morning. XYonder why. lo-Glenn was at school early this morning. l.et's feast over it. Miss Robin- son has a new red sweater and Miss Boggs a new cold. Miss lloggss mother and sister visited school today. 17-captains for each grade drew for school tourney. lfreshmen vs. Grades, Sophomores vs. Seniors. l8-lfreshies had class meeting' at noon. U41 you suppose they really think they will win the tourney? l'J-Everybody preparing' for tourney. Choose your colors. JO-liirst session of tourney is over. lfreshmen and Seniors won. Stafford was in school only one period this morning. Said he didn't feel good. There are many times people don't feel good. l-ls-llill llaker tried to sit on a seat that wasn't there. He found one, though! 15-The girls are trying out for track meet. We heard that Mr. Stafford is to be married June -lth. 16-The faculty and .-Xthletic club gave XVives to Burn. Mr. Stafford is in it, too. 17-23-Track team practice, study, more track team practice and more study. 24-Track meet at Fairview. B. ll. S. Hope they don't tear down assembly. 22-junior-Senior reception tomorrow night. Baccalaureate Sunday evening. 75-This is the day when the teachers decide our fate.
