Ask ,-Xlmer Parker. -l-The Seniors wish to thank -Iohn for entertaining Mr. Stafford while they have a good time. 5-XYe boys are sorry, girls, we have other things to do besides dressing like the l'rince of XYales and visiting school as Almer Parker, Casey Thompson, Raymond XYissler, and XX'ayne tiroves. 8-lilluer Monday but Merry is still coming. Get your stockings darned and chimney cleaned out, Freshies. '7--lohn was attacked by the being'-sent-trut-of-class-itis. lO-Freshies had to stay in at noon. Remember Santa always asks if you have been good children. 17-Robbers in town. The good citizens assisted officers in pursuit of gang, efforts fruitless. Did some of the high school boys run the other way? Late to school and no themes. 15-Hurrah! No school. Furnace needed repairing. Faculty enjoyed day at Indianapolis. It is rumored they saw the Follies. lo-Two Seniors try to rival -lack Dempsey. Glenn was rather bloody, but Raymond seemed none the worse as a result of their attempt to settle their dispute by primitive methods. 17-Reviewing for exam tomorrow. Remember Napoleon at XYaterloo. l'l-Last day of exams. XYe realize how little we do know. 22h.'Xfter a sleepless week-end, in which we were haunted by ghosts of what we inight have done, we learned our grades were only fair. Xyhere have our brilliant students gone? 23-Merry Xmas and a llappy and Prosperous New Year to you. JANUARY J-New Years resolutions in order: He, the Freshmen. resolve to study harder and play less in 1925. XVe, the Sophomores, resolve to study Caesar every day. We the Juniors, resolve to keep our record as spotless as it has been in the past. XYC, the Class of 1925, resolve that our example to others shall 'be above reproach. Step up, faculty, you're next. 6-Seniors have good time. Oh, those broken New Year's resolutions. 12-Freshman volley ball team won two games at noon. Good work. Freshies. 15-Everybody making posters. Connersville Glee Club Thursday night. 1-l-Look pleasant, please. Class, grades, team, step up and have your pictures taken for the annual. 15-County Superintendent, his son and Mr. Rayl visit school. Juniors and Seniors gone to have profiles photographed for Echo. 70-NYliy is Garnet C. singing' XYe Are Out to XYin, lioysu? 22-Call Casey! Garnet C. sprained ankle playing' volley ball. OCTOBER 1-K Ph, those monthly tests. .Z-Senior girls called down four times. Think they can do as they please because they are Seniors. 6-Tore down the decorations from the lfall Carnival. 7-Exciting' time in assembly before noon. XYhat happened? XYere the Freshmen entertaining? 9-Bliss llelen lieinnier, an ex-student, visits school. To think you were fxlrs. Rowe and we didn't know it. l3-First and second basketball teams picked. Now for state title. 1-l-Poor lfrances's only tliouglitsfXYliite Star gasoline and poodle dogs. 15-Mr. Staltordz XYhy are you late? Glenn: Because school began before I got here. 20-Back again. Thanks for State Teachers' Association. 23-The annual has been christened the lieho. 27-Blue Monday for the lfreshmen. Sorry for you infants, but the direc- tions say take a Latin test. 31-This dav made us think that November davs so cold and drear will soon be here., NOVEMBER 4-The election even affected B. H. S. XN'e elected Coolidge president. Hope the Civics class appreciated our efforts. 10-Donald and XYilbur sent out of l'.atin class, Now, Sophoniores, be careful. ll-John is small but mighty. Freshmen extend congratulations for holding your hand over the inap so long. I2-Getting' sent from Caesar is a habit, Xvilbur. 1-l+Eclg'ar talks out loud as much as Seniors. 17-First snow, Garnet shivers at sight of nrst Hake. 18-English test this time, Freshies. 19-XYI15' is it that Frances ll. and Garnet Xl. are still singing' Charley, My Bovu? 2-l-Momlay morning and Mr. Stafford is sleepy again. 26-Wye are thankful for Thanksgiving. NYe are going' to keep the cup. lt seems to be perfectly at home in our assembly. 26-Tourney is over and we won the cup. Nine Rahs for Team! 30-Flect representative to go tu Comiersville to select Senator for Fayette county to junior Legislature. The Freshmen learned early in the game how to maintain a deadlock. .Xre you playing politics, Freshies, or kill- ing time? FEBRUARY 2-Seniors sent out of class. Miss Robinson didn't have the heart to send the Freshmen back. 4-Girls improving in volley ball, but boys still like to instruct them. 5-Grade boys play Gaar of Cainbridge tonight, Seniors practice That's One on Hill. 6-llig game at Connersville tonight. 7MSaturday and school. Some day to gn to school, l'll tell the big Hat world. 9+l'oor Sophomoresl A three-hour test in Caesar, lYednesday. ll-This is the day of that Caesar test. Students campaigning for Maurice Jackson for Senator. ll-l'rogram today and Garnet Myers won the Lincoln Medal. She had to speak for it, though. 16-ll. H. S. lost to Raleigh last night. Freshmen have a party. 17-The morning' after the night before for Freshmen. 13-Seniors still at That's One on llillf' First team orders sweaters. l7on't see why, thought they all had one. 19-History class draws maps. .Xt least that's what they said they were. Seniors, we are waiting' to see what that was on Hill. 20-Mr. Stafford's mother visits school today. Horseshoes bring' bad luck. Marvin brought one to school today, but he had to give it to the janitor. Suppose .lake thought he would shoe his horse. -Free throw tourney held this afternoon. XYilliam Collier scored most points for boys. Elsie Manlove for girls. 26-The boys who petitioned that the laboratory be turned into a pool room are serving their time. They have found out that the less money one pledges the less time he has to serve. 27-B. H. S. lunior team plavs C. ll. S. luniors tonight. First and second teams play Milton. I i MARCH 2-juniors won by high score, 32-15. First and second teams lost. Mr. Stafford fell out of his chair. Oh, no! Prohibition law is still in effect. 3-Freshmen had to stay in because they did not have a good Latin lesson. That's what they get for Lack-in lesson. 4-Sophomores, hluniors, and Seniors went to hear Coolidge give his in- augural address. No, not to lYashington. D. C.-out to l l2lClil6lll21I1lS. 6-Sectional tourney begins at Connersville to1ho1'1'ow. Teams and others go, the rest had a ciphering match. 9-Another volley ball game. lO-Some Sophomore boys were sent out of Latin class. Boys, a Latin class is a class in Latin. Page forty-seven
