SENIOR DRCHESTR Every Friday afternoon the members of the Senior Orchestra gather in Room 18 to rehearse music for the various school programs. Through the efforts of Mr. Sidney Roshach, conductor, the players have been improving and increasing their repertoire of classical music. With the exception of Ann Vansock, pianist, thc various vacancies have been filled this year from the Junior Orchestra. The Senior Class has four representa- tives in this orchestra: namely, Charles Appleman, Royal Conrad, Elery Hess, and Florence Raski. VVe, the Senior Class. congratulate the orchestra on the fine performances they have made in the pastg and we sincerely wish them more success in the future which they are destined to make through their untiring energy. 30

Since its formation in 1938, it has achieved much by partici- pating in the musical activities of the county as well as in Benton and the surround- ing districts. Its appearance at home soccer games added color to the field, as well as to give the players added courage.
