M arie Reed The Sunshine Twins, which was presented in the high school auditorium January 29 and 30, 194-2, was a clean and wholesome comedy, filled with witty lines and amusing situations. The twins, keeping the audience in suspense as to what they were going to do next, were the center of the plot. Though the actors were young, the witty lines, light humor, complete reversal of the situations of the characters toward the end of the play, showed drama followers that the olfering has what it takes to rank with the best comedies put on in any high school. The Sunshine Twins, Connie and Gabby Robinson, eager to make their family happy, turn their home into an uproar. Clint Robinson, fPopsickle, to the twinsj who dislikes his job in a business firm, has always wanted to own a greenhouse, and becomes grumpy and disagreeable because of this. Glenn, easily influenced by radical ideas, has become a communist, and dislikes 26

the idea of work. Norma wishes to become a movie star, but is millionaire, and will not marry him because she doesn't wish Bebe, the willful daughter, who refuses to stay put with her rushes home daily wailing about her troubles. Mrs. Robinson, nervous from all her family worries. The Twins finally take over and get Popsickle fired, have munist pals, discourage Norma's acting ability, turn Leo into dollars from Mr. Porter. Clint buys the greenhouse from Mrs. sell it to himg Glenn loses his radical ideas and goes to work. makes her stay, and Norma and Vail become engaged.
