THE ORACLE THE J UN IORS ..l..1-11 DORETHEA HESS ...... .. Snap 'Tm Telling the World. Dorethea is a jolly lass and has red hair, which might lead strangers to think that she is from Ireland. But just don't let her fool you. Some of her most delightful moments are spent with a certain Sophomore called Curly, HARRY EVERETT .................. Socks You Can Drive a Horse to Water But a pencil Must be Lead. Harry is one of the most dignified boys in our class and he is Oh, so bashful, when it comes to work he is always on the job. FLORENCE THOMPSON .... . . . Si Oui, Oui! La, La! Florence is the musician of our class, and she would rather sing than eat. She is very enthus- iastic over Home Making. We wonder why. Perhaps she is planning for the future. WILLIS DEITRICK ..... .. Trick Holy Gee. Willis is that husky, sleepy looking, industrial workman that winds his way wearily to what he calls Prison which is located on the corner of First Street, but he would much rather plow fields, sow oats or do most anything than go to school. THE ORACLE 11 THE JUNIORS ELLA MITCHELL ......... .. Elly Listen, Girls I'll Tell You. Ella is the girl who is known to talk in a lower tone than anyone else and yet be heard. Ella better start saving her pennies, frying pans, roll- ing pins and small coal shovels. They are hand- iest for first aid. ERNEST KNOUSE .... Darling Oh-o-o-o-o. The most striking characteristic of this gink is not evident from the opposite picture. He is troubled with it but the only time you see it is when he has his Boy Scout Suit on. MAX MCHENRY ........ Z .... .. 'iKid Don't be a kid all your life. A A Max is all eyes but full of electricity. To look at Max you'd think he was too bashful tfiilook at a girl's hair ribbon, but this is not so 5 and, with the speed Max is now going he'll soon be treading the path to the altar. , HOLLAND MCHENRY .............. Holly We were somewhat fortunate in cacthing Holly sitting still long enough to get his picture. He is quite prominent around the school rooms. We would be very much at loss without him.
