Zke Class of Nineteen Sixty-five Here we are; finally we are Seniors. We have passed all our classes and taken all our tests, and the year has been so busy that it seems to have lasted only a fleeting instant. We've had many experiences in our four years at B.C.H.S.. some happy, some sad; but we'll never forget the warm companionship of classmates, nor the friendly, gentle guiding hands of our teachers. We’ll always remember the victorious homecoming, and the fun-filled Echo Carnival. We'll also remember the Junior-Senior Reception and the sad departure of our old friends at graduation. With all these wonderful events it seems as if it is all coming to an end too fast. As a class, we have striven toward the preparation for a better life, and as we depart, we'll all remember that wonderful year of 1965 when we were the Senior Class of Benton Consolidated High School. 48 DON ALEXANDER—VFC I; Science C’ub: Basketball I. 2; Football I. 2; Traci. We participated in the homecoming parade with a float. At Christmas we got our class rings and wore them proudly. Several members of the class took part in our junior play. There was fun planning and attending the junior-senior reception. Many of us took responsible offices in clubs. Zke Class of Nineteen Mundred Sixty-Seven We sophomores look with anticipation to the future. Even so. this past year has been a thrilling and productive experience. Although we had participated in one previous homecoming, we looked forward to our sophomore homecoming festivities with much excitement. The Sophomore Class under the direction of our class officers worked hard and long on the class float. The theme was Boil the Birds! We'll Be the Wieners. The sophomores, also, took part in many new activities—the Saturnalia. Science Club. Latin Club. History Club, and the Concession Stand—in addition to continued hard work at our studies and athletics. Altogether, this period of our high school life has been truly worthwhile. We hope that our future years in Benton Consolidated High School will be as memorable as this year. 76 Kenny Adams Pally Adams Geneva Alexander Kenny Alexander Barbara Allen Dennis Bacon Leona Bain Nancy Bain Peggy Barfon Joyce Beasley Monte Beasley Linda Beaty Neva Behm Betsy Bennett Lynda Bennett Lonnie Bettriss Betty Blondi Bobby Blondi Brenda Bowlen Pam Bollero Nancy Bruce Jim Buchanan John Burlison John Chaffin Theresa Clark Francis Cluck Ed Cockrum Bobby Cook Doug Cordts Jacqueline Corey Kenny Craig Terry Crisp Larry Darr Dennis Dial Mike Dorris Eddie Doty Linda Doxsie James Drew Francine Duncan Gary Duncan Vic for Dungy Jim Eldridge Linda Erwin Alice Fisher Cleduth Fisher George Flannigan Kenny Foster Stephen Friar Shirley Galloway Sandy German Sue Glidewell Barbara Goessman Gala Goss Judy Groves Jean Gulley Mary Lou Gulley Larry Gunter Debbie Hammonds Earline Haney William Hedges Richard Hendrix Jerry Hoover David House Sue House Keith Ina Kathleen Jenkins Karen Johnson Richard Johnson Danny Joplin Steve Keelen Marvin Kerley Richard Ketteman Becky Kimmel Diane Kinkade Sharon Kirk Vicky Kirk Randy Kirkpatrick Judy Knight Sammy Kraft Mike Kramer 78 Darrel Launius Brenda Loomed Bob Lewis Front: Lewis Debbie Lipe John Loss Bill Lowery Conita Martel David Marsden Bill Martin David Martin Roger Martin Anna Melvin Fred Melvin Robert Mick Linda Moore George Morris Gary Moss Randy Moss Kathy McAfoos Sharon McClendon Margaret McClerren Mark McCutcheon Mark McGuire David McLearin Brenda Neinlist Steve Norman Ricky Pace Ronnie Pauley Cindy Paxton Greg Payne Roberta Piercy Ricky Pierson John Pinson Carolyn Poole Brenda Poore Terry Ray Chester Razor Gary Rice Warren Rice 79 Gary Smothers Susan Smothers Tommy Somers Linda Spain Joann Stewart Gary Stone Dennis Stowers David Sullivan Melvin Sullivan Glen Summers Marty Summers Susan Summers John Swofford Ronnie Taskoski Andy Tasky Alice Tate Linda Taylor Betty Thompson Debbie Tredwell James Tucker Brenda Walker Karen Walker Diana Webb Roger Webb Kathy Wells Artie Roach Bruce Rogers Donna Rone • Sondro Seibert Robert Sentel Steve Sevenski Kenny Shelton Gary Shreves Linda Sink John Skinion Gordon Smith Harlie Smith Linda Sue Smith Marsha Ann Smith Vicki Smith 80 Richard Yunkus Sophomores not pictured James Benns Nadine Bettis Beverly Drew Virginia Sentil William West Lynn Wetzel Nancy Wiggs Connie Williams Trevo Wilkerson Danny Williams James Williams Julia Williams Bruce Willis Julie Wilson Bill Wintz Margaret Wood Johnny Wormley Mike Wyant Randy Young Jn Memory 81 DICK CRAIG He! Yet here we were at a very important milestone in our lives. We've had many new experiences while here. Surely no one will forget the first few weeks at Benton High. Most of us Greenies got lost at least once, but soon we felt very welcome, thanks to the help and understanding of the teachers and other students. We. the class of '68. hope to be one of the best classes to graduate from B.C.H.S. Our goal is to keep up the fine traditions of past graduates. As our freshman year comes to a close, our problems, experiences, and adventures will become a thing of the past, but we will never forget them. 84 Sharon Adkins Vikie Adkins David Aumiller Elaine Baburnich Jane Bailey Kenneth Baker Jerry Baldwih Patti Bandy Susan Barham Virgil Barnfield Roberta Basham Bobby Beasley Larry Beaty Gary Beavers Effie Bennett Dennis Benns Bill Bettress John Bortoletto Margaret Brandibas Becky Browning Cheryl Browning Jim Bullington Janet Burlison Linda Burlison Mark Carr Patricia Carter Betty Casey Mike Cavaness Cindy Chaney David Choisser Nancy Cluck Kenny Cochrum Roger Cocke Dick Conner Kenny Connor Paula Conner Freddie Cooper Dick Corn Bruce Craddock Ginger Cremeens Pam Crisp Sandra Cunningham Connie Cushman Allen Czenski Jesse Darnell Mike Davey Marcia Davis Sharon Davis Pat Deitz Anthony Denham Susan DeSett Johnny DeSpain Marvin DeSpain Cathy DeWar Jim Dixon Teresa Douglas Vicki Drake Linda Dye Chris Edgar Bocca Edwards Mary Lou Eubanks Mark Ewing Georgia Ezell Donald Fetheringhame John Fitzpatrick Vanita Fleehart Sue Forth Janet Frailey Linda Frick Elaine Frost Marvin Gates.
