Busy hands make the sound of creative ability. Fun — Characterize the students of B.C. H. S. The telephone rings, and the gang calls and wants to go riding. They pick us up, and we are off to the root beer stand. As we arrive at the root beer stand, the sounds of rock and roll music blast our ears as we sip the refreshments and enjoy the chatter from the surrounding cars. We also hear the synocopated rhythms of the kids dancing on the roof. As we head north on wide, smooth route 37, we hear the whine and whistle of the cars as they scurry by. Arriving at Lake Benton, we are greeted by the sound of melodic roller skates at the roller rink. We then decide to go to the payilion, and we hear more music with the scuff of feet on the dance floor. We also hear the sound of pin ball machines and the clinking of soda bottles. We then decide to stroll down to the pool, and we hear the splash- ing of water and the yelling of kids. The noise is suddenly interrupted by the shrieking of the lifegard’s whistle. He is calling two misbehav ing boys. The trouble is soon taken care of, and the noise resumes. We once again load in the car and start back for ihe square. On the way we meet friends and exchange hellos by the honking of horns. As we come to the square, we meet friends and stop and talk awhile. We then take one last ride around the square and head for home. We have come to the end of a Saturday afternoon.

We shall always remember the silence and the suspense of exams and exuberance and yells after they were over. ‘J he proud exclama- tions of our parents when our name appeared on the honor roll and when we attend the Honor Banquets will remain high on our list of memories, The quiet excitement of our first Flomecoming, part of our memory of and the sad but more confident last Homecoming were BCHS sounds. The applause for our class attendants and Queen was thunderous; as was our class yell at pep sessions. We truly lived for the day when we yelled—fifteen rahs for the Seniors. All in all it has been a vibrant four years. We have truly lived and and we shall always bring to mind the enjoyed every moment of it, and all the good times of our high sounds of fun, the excitement, school years. Seniors —— Vibrant excitement for our last year of school. Sell that candy, boys; we're in debt. We need money quick! The silence of secrecy describes the class elections where all voting is done confidentially. 13
