Speech Club Thespians Speech Club was organized in 1951. Its purpose is to encourage the development of all kinds of speaking ability. The club broadcasts about six programs a month and sponsors a dance after a game. The sponsor is Mr. Miller. The officers arc: Jean Lewis, president; Jane Starkey, vice-president; Keith Sanders, secretary; Joyce Woodburn, treasurer. Thespians was organized in 1952. Its purpose is the advancement of dramatic arts. To he a member, it is necessary to take part in some phase of a play production. The sponsor is Mr. Miller.
