Although we realize that others will consider this a mere annual, to those who have lalmred to prepare it for the ptddic, it is an unusually interesting production. We wish to thank those who have liecn kind enough to contribute to the SCARAB” and in this way to lighten, to some extent, the load on the editors’ shoulders. Our only desire is that the reader shall lie ill greatly interested in the contents of the SCARAB as the staff has been in preparing it for the public, and wc would like to see the continued publication of a year Imok for each ensuing year.
