The opening ceremony for graduation was opened by the J.R.O.T.C. with their flag salute. The following Benton Singers that are singing at the podium are from left to right, Kerry Ziolkowski, Jerry Wheeler, Lisa Barr, and Christine Silvey. The graduates throw their hat up by the bell for an end to their high school years, but a beginning for their future. This was the 1987 graduates final freedom from their high school years. The Variety Show was very successful this year. Everyone had a very joyous and meaningful time working together on the “Bratty Bunch.” Through cooperation and hard work, the students showed that they could put on an entertaining as well as top quality show. The many individual acts combined well with the main plot of the show and produced another success for Benton.
