Senior Cap Throw Be Tradition The 1986 seniors graduated on a hot sunny day in June. The day was very eventful for all since it was full of happiness for some and tears of sadness for others. Many were faced by the thought of leaving their friends and beginning their life on their own. This day was a very memorable day in the eyes of many, and unforget- table for all. Right: After the Variety Show some of the cast, crew and actors get together to talk over that night’s performances. 08 Variety Show The 1985-86 variety show “WBRP in Cincinnati’’, based on the syndicated television show “WKRP in Cincin- nati”,was a tremendous success not only because of its origi- nality but also because of the talent and dedication of the performers and everyone behind the scenes. Thanks to the skills of the students, whether they sang,danced, acted, di- rected, or were on any of the various crews, they cooperated and combined to produce a highly entertaining show. The variety show gives students the chance to be in the spotlight, raise money for the school, and display talents their peers might not know they possess. It’s a learning experience for all who participate and also a rewarding one. It provides a cre- ative outlet for students who enjoy the field of entertainment and stage and hopefully creates fond memories of Benton.
