Mr. Blackwell and Mr. Coleman plan for future education. Mr. R. V. Blomfield St . joseph's Board of Education is a hard-Working organization which receives little recognition. This council g consists of six persons who are chosen by their party and y serve Without pay. No changes are made in our school system unless they have been approved by the Board. Meetings are held regularly once each month and Whenever the occasion demands. MPM Mis. Ruth Giddens, Dean of girls for the second consecutive year, is well qualified for her position. Besides holding Master of Education and Bachelor of Science degrees, she possesses that that certain knack for understanding students. No matter what size the problem, Mrs. Giddens seems to have an effective solution. Mrs. Ruth Giddens, Dean of girls, checker of leave permits, teacher of home economics, healer of cut fingers, can be found serving the students of Benton at any hour, and many times after hours. All her many' duties are carried out efficiently with the same cool, calm, kind attitude. A busy desk, a busy woman, --the pulse of Benton. 8
