Yes, that group of men and women are devoted to the education of tomorrow’s citi- zens. They have taught us to get along with others and have given us the inspiration we need to rise to higher planes where we may better serve our fellow men. To them, and to our loyal administrative staff, we owe a very great debt, our education.

 Mr. George L. Blackwell, a competent leader in the field of education, shoulders much responsibility as superintendent. With the aid of the Board of Education, he determines pol- icies, regulates personnel, and coordinates activities of the en- tire St. Joseph school system. Helping to lighten Mr. Blackwell’s responsibilities is another competent leader in the field of education. Mr. G. M. Cole- man, who serves as assistant superintendent in charge of in- struction. The Board of Education, a body of well qualified represent- ative citizens, has as its main purpose the securing of the best possible educational advantages for the youth of St. Joseph.
