These activities are various. Last fall council members clerked in the book ex- change. Wheii the football season opened, they managed the queen contest. They got out souvenir programs for the coronation game and other home games later in the season. Duringthe games, they directed traffic at the field. just before the Thanks- giving game with Central they sponsored Color Day and sold pennants and other gadgets in the school colors. After policing the premises during lunch hour they set out containers to catch the waste paper scattered during the period. For the recreation room they bought dance records and ping pong balls. For the main lobby they bought an electric clock and helped to install it. As a contribution to civic activities they supervised the Community Chest drive among the students.
