Long hours have been spent trying to make it a memorial that you will treasure. On these pages the staff has tried to depict a year'slgrowth and progress of Benton' Senior High School. A . . . The purpose of this book is to enable you to remember the hours you spent at B.H.S. and to help you hold these memories close to your heart. The manner in which you, the student body, accept this Book of Memories determines in a measure how well we have succeeded in our purpose. I . . . The Panther was ours for almost a year. Now it belongs to you. Handle it with care, for it is the story of a year of your life. .sf be-, 'Gln ss 4 l'v'. 'F ver aff . RESUME OF SEASON Panthers yielded to the Smackover Buckaroos in the first game of the season T6-7, although the Panthers clearly outrushed the Buckaroos. Taking advantage of two excellent breaks given them, the Stuttgart Ricebirds blanketed the Panthers T8-O at Stuttgart, playing the entire game in a steady drizzle of rain. Not only does the Annual give training to its staff, it also gives a record of school activities for the year and is an excellent public relations device.
