The Class of 1954 is honored to dedicate this edition of the Benecho to MISS MARY HARTMAN Teacher of English and Literature at Benton joint High School. Miss Hartman has not confined her interests to the English and Literature Departments, but has spent numerous hours composing and di- recting assembly programs. Long after other high school memories have faded, the memory of this sincere, distinguished teacher will remain. 2
