Mr. and Mrs. Miller, together with their three children each of whom presents a new and different problem, survives the ordeal of raising their children. Kathy, a pretty but self-conscious eighteen year old, with the help of joe Robertson, the Handy Man, finally overcomes her handicap of self-consciousness with the boys. Mitzi, a thirteen year old with lots of ideas, keeps the audience in suspense as to what she would think up next. The curtain falls as Ben changes from a bookworm into a Basketball hero, fulfilling his father's dream.
