seg H S as Yi so HOME ECONOMICS One phase of the home economics work is the serving of meals. During the Freshman year the girls learn to prepare breakfasts. This includes such things as proper cooking of dried fruits, cereals, and eggs. Special emphasis is placed on the serving of different types of luncheons, buffet suppers, and teas, during the Sophomore year. The Juniors prepare and sell the school lunch to those who wish to buy. The Seniors emphasize meal planning and serving under project work. In this way, the pupils learn to manage and economize in the preparation of foods, which is one of the many objectives of the Home Economics Course. Page 2 8
