FOREWORD CEHROUGHOUT the preparation of this book, it has been our aim to picture life at Benton High School. We have given you glimpses of personalities, classroom and field Work, and extra- curricular activities. We have en- deavored to record treasured memories, perpetuate old friendships, and pre- pare a lasting souvenir of the class of 1938. On account of illness of two members of the Staff, Bruce Sutliif and Wilfred Conrad, James M. McHenry was appointed to serve in the capacity of Associate Editor, and Jack Hess supervised the Financial Committee of which he was originally a member.
