The Silhouette 25 SDIDII-15 'DDNlfII2IIII3lUlfII'DN Sophomores-CAll right, Ripley, Sue us.J The Sophomore Class is generally considered by the best author- ities to be the best behaved and most intelligent class of recent years. Their favorite passtime is sitting demurely with their hands in their laps, twiddling their thumbs. The class is highly favored by the fac- ulty and is loved especially by Mr. Appleman. They are never late for classes and are always seated and quiet at least three minutes be- fore the bell rings. They are paticularly fond of music and enjoy studying operas by the hour. Once or twice it has been known for a Sophomore to whisper, but he has been immediately silenced by cries of Shame, Shame. Taken as a whole, the Sophomore Class is the model Class of the School. -Anonymous. Imagine, Marg. Masten and Jessie Horn-agreeing. Dora Parks with black hair. Allen Buck, not having to sit up front in English class. Jessie Horn skinny. Mable Albertson fat. ' Roberta Davis short. Mildred Morris, mad. Iris Savage, not giggling. Doyle Hess-Hello, Ern. Say, l've got a freak over on my place --a two-legged calf. lirn Chapin-Yes, l know. He came over to call on my daughter last night. Mr. McHenry, fafter explaining an Algebra problemj-There- fore the result is zero. James Hess-All that work for nothing. M. Pennington: NVhat author is known for his vocabulary? Irvin D.- XVebster. Mr. Smith-lf you'd all keep quiet, I'd die. Allen Buck-Everybody keep quiet.
