24 THE ORACLE THE SEN ICR DRAMA THE MANEUVERS OF JANE The evenings of April eleventh and twelfth, nineteen hundred and nineteen, were triumphant ones for the Senior class of '19. The success of our increased endeavor throughout the year culminated in our Senior Drama, The Maneuvers of Jane. . - All the characters played their parts in an exceptionally fine man- ner and helped to make the drama a success. Each one deserves a great amount of praise for portraying their part so clearly. The drama was well received by every one, and much credit is due Miss Robins, the coach. for the clear interpretations. CAST OF CHARACTERS. Lord Bapchild ......................... THE ORACLE 23 SCI-ICOL SERVICE PAGE Below we have listed the names of the students that have attended Benton Vocational School who have risked their limbs, their sight, their all, for the sake of our country. Young men and women alike, who saw their duty, who went at the first call and who were among the first to show their ability against the Hun. These boys and girls were in. nearly every branch of the service and many received commissions or were made non commissioned officers. Benton High was represented by boys in nearly every great battle where the Americans were operating. Perhaps some of our own nurses were lnursing the wounded just behind where our boys were fighting. Who nows . Many have been wounded and four have given their lives That this country shall not -perish from the earth but have everlasting life. We should be and are exceedingly proud of these people who have mziuldelsuch a reputation, as soldiers and nurses, for themselves and their sc oo . In the years to come when we read the names of these brave soldiers and nurses we shall then begin to realize what a great work they helped to o Those Who Gave Their Lives in Service.
