THEORACLE SOPHOMORE CLASS POEM --. . The Sophomore class is very brilliant out of school, But in, they are wont to play and fool, When we look about, we see none but Paul, For, Oh! He is so exceptionally tall. Betty is a very bright little lass Especially in Geometry class. - Beatrice and Grace, are both so small That we mention them, and that is all. Etta and Erma are both from Derrs Where grow pine, spruce, hemlock and firs. Izora has been ill for quite a while But now she is back with her welcome smile Carl is catcher on our Base Ball team His back is some weak and he has little steam Russel and Max are the worst in the class Although they study enough to pass. Hilda and Mildred like Pepsin gum And Mildred, Oh, My! How she dose like Yocum. Jarius, we think is our brightest stude Although he is somewhat of a dude. Joe and Millard are always to class Ready to laugh and give plenty of sass. Mildred and Rachael's homes are not here like the But just the same, they are two of our best. Harold and Alfred are from upstream Going around, sometimes, as it were, in a dream Miriam is slim and very spry But when she is hurt, she sometimes will cry. Evelyn's hair is so nicely curled While she says My Little Body is awfeary of th Helen comes to school in her Lizzie - The cranking of which, keeps Paul so busy. Neva and Della study very much , Their marks show they surely do such. Allen we have on the stay-at-home list And you may be sure he's very much missed.
