Dear Seniors: As you approach the first major milestone in your educational career. I am sure that you have come to realize that this thing we call education is not a fixed goal but rather a process of growth. For that reason you are not by any means approach¬ ing the end just because you are about to graduate. As long as you have the capacity to read, observe, and think reflectively, this growth process will continue. If it were not so, you would become static and useless to yourself and to others. You have come a long way. Your accomplishments have been many, and your efforts crowned with success. It is true, however, that for the most part you have been receiving—from your parents, from your school, from your teachers, and from your community. Your life process from now on will require of you much giving— to your homes, to your state and nation, and to society in general. If now you can do that, you have found your peak . As you measure up to this new responsibility, you will climb to that peak. I hope we have been able to - point the way. I wish feu you much, happiness and success as you climb. Yours sincerely, OSCAR W. BROOME 10
