We will never forget our initiation day when those wicked Sophomores smeared our faces with lipstick We had fun eating hot peppers and onions, drinkmg vanilla and crawling on our knees Remember when we would talk too much and Mr Hrutkay would make us write, S11ence is a Golden Virtue, 500 times? Those were the good old days Our Freshmen Frol1c was held on Friday, the 13th and boy were we unlucky that night! I It rained' At the beginning of Together party so we VKE're sure that Mr Roche and Mrs Aebi will never forget our class with fondness we hope Our two rooms were not one class as we were later it seems that it took Father Time to bring us together Everyone remembers the incident about paper and II ke holes' We were good kids at heart though Christmas brought our Enchanted Y Forest and mistletoe in the air vent As we graduated 1nto the Jusnior Class, we passed our lipstick rights to the new Sophomores August Z9 1956 and we were Juniors! I We'll always remeniber the forlorn express ions on Mr C Hrutkay's and Mr Vernall1s's faces They had the task, as our home room teachers, to reform us However, nearly half our class, somehow managed to f h maintain a C Ln conduct throughout the entire year They were proud o us W en we raise g arrived and after some battle we got the ones we wanted While sweating over ' finals we kept hoping for a better more rewarding Senior Year! I ! At last the big day arrived and we became Seniors Qto the dismay of Misses Nelson and Kilonskyj Doug, Jerry, Joan and Janie were elected class officers We d After began the year right by selling magazines with Roundy leading the para e orderin name cards we began our play, 'Curtain Going Up ' Since we did our best S 1 work in our undergrad days with little rehearsal, we repeated this practice in our i senior year Many thanks to Mr Ernler for doing such a wonderful Job in nnking t a success We will never forget that surprise love scene by Doug and Phyllis Dec d th ernber saw pose after pose for our senior pictures Days seemed to :Ely an e ll hri h 1 da s arrived and with them our party 1sn't it fun playing musical C stmas o 1 y , chairs ?
