Victories over Riverview and Belleville rewarded the i960 swimming team for their hours of hard work, but otherwise the laurel crown was elusive. Individual showings brought glory to the team, such as those by John Tresh, diving, Jim Popp, butterfly, Jeff Kellogg, free-style, Ron Holmes, backstroke, and Nelson Mead, individual medley.
