“
Las Animas, Colorado DEDICATION The Annual Staff proudly dedicates the '59 Trojan to Mrs. Helen Wade, in appreciation for her faithful years spent serving the students of Bent County High School. Her lofty ideals are deeply implanted into the lives of her former students as well as those of today. A perfect woman, nobly plann'd To warn, to comfort, and command And yet a spirit still, and bright With something of angelic light” Wordsworth ill Proud traditions are the bulwark upon which we base many of our fondest memories within the halls of Bent County High School. Your teachers, your parents and your friends have made every effort to provide you with all the tools and implements that go to make a good education possible. Your valuable experiences as a Trojan are more than those of the classroom and the formal academic pursuits; they embrace all of your high school endeavors: the classroom, the activities, the recreational features, the athletic program, the hallways, the coke machine, the office. Bach part must leave an imprint upon your life and the sum total of these experiences are what you make them. Your annual is dedicated to the preservation of these memories - I hope they are pleasant ones - those of a true Trojan. T. H.
