Dean scored 19 points in the Brighton game, 6 of which were scored in the last quarter to anchor the championship. Dean's total points was 25. ALL-STATE! John Davison, big man for the victorious Trojans shown laying in his ever present hook shot, was one of the three Trojans who managed to make the 1st Lower AA All-State Team. John had the highest tourney average and sparked the final drive in the last quarter of the Brighton game with a tally of 10 points. John pulled a total of 44 points. John was also named to the All-Rocky Mountain Team. Bill Deal, who was named to the 2nd Lower AA Team, possessed the long range jump shot. Bill was in there clearing the boards for Las Animas in the Brighton Game and played a good scrappy game in both tourney matches.
