gbocfor olbon in ear PRINCIPAL Under the guidance of our principal, Dr, Leon Minear, Benson has grown into an outstanding technical school. The student body of Benson is proud of their principal. We can readily see that through his leader- ship, Benson will continue to be the leader among technical high schools. A school is held together by three main groups. These are: the fac- ulty, the students, and last but not least the administration. The admin- istration here at Benson consists of Dr. Leon Minear, principal, and three vice-principals, Mr. George Brown, Mr. Harold Murray, and Mr. Marv Rclsmussin. This group of men has transformed Benson into the Northwest's finest technical institute. In the past year Benson students have wit- nessed many changes, these were largely clue to the constant efforts of the administrators. We, the student body of Benson, offer our thanks to the men who control Benson Polytechnic School.

mmm ,Qw- Wr. .jslarofcl murray Mr. Harold Murray, last year's Athletic Direc- tor, has become one of the new Vice-Principals. Mr. Murray is in charge of curriculum and he has a genuine understanding of how the Benson student feels and what he wants. The Engineers can thank this man for the well-rounded schedule that 'they follow each day. 5,1 We -- ilk Wy. WW., Mmmm Mr. Marv Rasmussen is the other new Vice- Principal. He came to Benson from Roosevelt High, where he was Varsity Basketball coach. Here at Benson, his main function lies in being in charge of Attendance and Counseling. Since coming to Benson, he has become well-liked among the students who know that he will treat them fairly and squarely as best he knows how. A1233 WP. george rown Mr. George Brown, formerly in charge of stu- fdent discipline, was transferred this year to the shop area where he was christened Shop Super- intendent. Mr. Brown is a big man and is enough to scare any student who is caught in the shop area without a hall pass. But, quite to the contrary, Benson students look up to this man, realizing what wonderful character he really has.
