Senior Sponsors Impressed With Growth of School Since First Yearbook, Rasmussen, Johnette, Donley and Weeth CLASS of 1955 SPONSORS Thirty eight faculty membcrs comprised the 1979 faculty Those present then and now include Miss Eva jones social studies instructor who has been in charge of costuming var ious productions in past years besides being co sponsor of the Student Council Miss May Leach has been physical education instructor and Miss Gladys Line English instructor Miss Mary McNamara principal in 1929 retired five years ago Miss Ella Barrett head of the mathematics department and Mrs Sadie Schaffmt Latin instructor are others of the 1979 group who have retired recently The schools enrollment has grown to 1340 this year as has the faculty numbering in 1955 at 60 members 1929 MISS EHRMA DONLEY . . . is head sponsor buzzed around directing the Senior activities with her usual efficiency. JOHN JOHNETTE . . . the male member of the Big Four, with a real interest in people, proved that a teacher can be 1 true friend. MISS MABEL RASMUSSEN . . . was a guiding light to many seniors with her calm personality. MRS. MARY WEETH . . . with her able leadership do- nated much of her time to make this year's class one of the best.
