This club has charge of two school affairs, the Homecoming Dance and the Alumni basketball game. As spring rolls around, the O-Club enjoys the initiation of new members. At the close of the year, the O-Club holds their annual picnic, in which the newly initiated members are included. On September 28, 1929, eighteen Benson lettermen held the first official O-Club met- ting in the history of Benson high. It was highlighted with a wiener roast at Mandan Park. Spring sports play an important role for members of the O-Club. Baseball, track, golf and tennis made it possible for 31 boys to become varsity letter winners last year. The baseball team finishing fourth in the 54 intercity standings, is confident of even a better season this year Loaded with nine returning lettermen and a group of highly regarded underclassmen, the bunny cinder brigade should be respected by all track foes Both the tennis and golf teams are returning with an undefeated record from last year The tennis team has only one returning letterman, but the golf squad has six of the eight hnksters that started in matches last year Dam Stoney Harden Loonen Xlifoodard Yelungton Goodrich Radenbaugh Walter Johnson Houston Horacek Sappenfield Cochran Moore Anderson Franks Lanlglra Knight Stoneburner Goeser Alsbrooks Barn tt Townsdm Clark West Sherwood Wells Spomer Bantner Rosch OFlynn Coyan Mason Raschke Reifschneider Muenster Burmestet Brace Eselm Longacre Nemer 3 Otten, Nlartig, Shields, Wardrobe, Patrick, Vogell Richardsdn, Sprandel, Young, Craig 1 -MQW 'wr fy X Stoneburner Huston Vogel Sherwood Raschke Barnett Stexnbach Fausset Tucker Harden Brace Burmesrer Yelvmgron Muensrer Shrelds Cochran Coach Orcutr Watson Goff Prlce Hershner Trnsley Rrchardson Gunmng Dowrue ARSITY BASEBALL TRACK Rerfschnexd r D Nelson XVells Woodward Spomer R Nielsen Wfentz PHHOWICZ Wardrobe Coach Harris Bell Canxglxa Reagan Wagner Brown Sallqulst Cralg Radenbaugh Coach Johnson Wfesr, Marr1g,J Nelson Newens Wlnnsor OFl5nn Andersen, Townsdxn Green Knight Dovmle A Nlelsen Logacre Armentrour Moore Jackson Richards Stanek Goeser Rosch I :J-,.' ff - ,X Q we, r 22-. -1.
