First of the major senior activities was senior election. After much campaigning, poster painting, skits, and addresses the results were announced. Robert Keim, amiable gymnast of the Fair Hates ticket, came through as president, Scientific Tom Hunt and journalistic Vernita Helmstadter, both of the Pullman ticket, were elected vice president and sec- retary respectively. Athletic and shy Don Pedersen gained the treasurer slot. He represented the Tip Top ticket. The other ticket in the running was Four Leaf Clover ticket, Freckles, sunburn, and appetites were revealed by the antics of the seniors on skip day.
