JUNE SENIOR OFF1eERs llzirlwr, Bristow, Corbaley, Summers Superman flew through the air, Swamies performed feats of magic, and other similarly strange occurrences marked the senior election campaign. Wheii the smoke cleared, Lewis Corbaley was revealed as president, Robert Bristow as vice president, Mary Alice Barber, secretary, and Alvin Summers, treasurer. 'These officers led the senior class through a year of fun, work, and activity. As a moneyfraising project, the class sponsored the presentation of two plays, Gloomy Ones and Chico. Mrs. Kathryn Kendall, Mrs. Natalie Jacobson, Miss Rubie lessen, and Mrs. Edith Smith were senior sponsors. Graduation activities began with the breakfast and senior day May 18. The breakfast was made possible by each senior bringing two ration stamps for the purf chase of bacon and butter. May 25, the banquet was held at the Paxton Hotel. 'Ben' son Highflightsv was the theme and speeches followed the general theme with the titles of Focusing, Enlargements, Candid Shots, Double Exposure, and '4Perf speetivef' NVith a vesper baccalaureate service at Dundee Presbyterian Church, school days drew to a close.
