Homecoming 1967 Excitement, suspense, anticipation, that was Homecoming 1967. The question upper- most in the minds of the students was - who would be king and queen. Earlier the junior and senior girls started training for the annual Powder Puff Football game and plans and practice went on for the coronation program. Thursday night Queen Wanda and King Jerry reigned and were entertained by the coro- nation program, which had a theme of River City . Their attendants were Debbie Larson, Connie Rensink, Linda Doyle, Becky Ellingson, Alan Rice, Tom O'Malley, Dick Gallagher, and Bob Mikkelson. One of the highlights of the evening was Regan's Heroes . On Friday afternoon all attended an outdoor pepfest and the Powder Puff Football game in which the seniors were victorious (14-0). Benson played Sauk Centre Friday evening. During half time Queen Wanda was pre- sented with a bouquet while the band played Some Enchanted Evening . However, everyone was sad at the outcome when Sauk Centre won. The Rare Factions provided the music at a well attended dance which ended the Homecoming for another year. 6
