A vivacious girl—she is active in GAA. The Roy Holmquists-- Margaret's family away from home. Margaret displays en- thusiasm at a game. A BRITISH TEENAGER AT BHS Benson High School has had a new smiling face this past year. Marg- aret Joan Randall, our foreign ex- change student from England, at- tended our high school as a senior. Margaret was born on September 23, 1946. She has a younger brother, Norman, who is nine years old. Her sister Jennifer was married this last August. Since Margaret was three years old, she and her family have lived in Croyden, England. Croyden is a suburb of London, and has a popula- tion of approximately 280,000. It is growing very rapidly and it is being rebuilt and modernized. Benson is a much smaller town than Margaret is used to, but she likes it. She says she is a town girl, and is not used to country all around. While in Benson, Margaret is stay- ing with Mr. and Mrs. Roy Holin- quist and family. One major difference for Marg- aret in America is a co-educational school. This is the first year she has attended school with boys. After graduation and a tour of the U.S. in July, Margaret will return to England, and will take up physiotherapy. She will attend Kings College Hos- pital School of Physiotherapy for three years. When she completes this training, she will work on the staff in a hospital somewhere as a junior physiotherapist. Margaret is one of the most well-liked and in- teresting foreign exchange students Benson has ever had. Every senior as well as younger stu- dents and teachers will verify this statement. Speaking for the senior class, We'll never for- get you, Margaret. A fine person like you will always be welcome in Benson. Long hours are spent in Biology. The Randalls await Margaret's return.
