In Dedication to Gur Parents . . . We, the members of the class of 1955, dedicate The Owl to our parents. Their love, understanding, wisdom, and guidance have been with us always. We are dedi- cating this record of our school activities to them, who have given so much to us. Looking back we remember our first day in school, we ran home at the end of the day to tell our mothers and dads just what had happened. Remember when they went to P. T. A., and we were scared stiff of what our teachers would say to them? Can you recall when your first date came in your Freshman year, and your parents waited up for your return, eager to hear about it? Mother helped so much, aiding us in choosing our formal for the prom and Dad generously supplied the car. Finally, Commencement Day arrived, and our parents came to see us graduate. They were so proud of their sons and daughters. When we were afraid they comforted us, when we were ill they nursed us, we were sad, and they listened to our troubles, we were happy and they laughed with us. We owe our parents so much that we can never thank them enough. S0 it is fitting that we should dedicate our Yearbook to our parents. They have given their time, their talents and their life to make us better citizens of our com- munity.
