The aspects of academic and extra-curricular life at Benhi that may seem matter-of-course to students are in reality the result of long and careful planning. For this reason space is allotecl early in our tour of Malon s Alley to the school administrative leaders, Principal Gor- don M. Thomas, Assistant Principal Elliot S. Gil- man and Superintendent of Schools, Allan J, Heath. If the office is foreign territory to some few law-abiding souls, there is no one who has not been to the Guidance Department for advice or informa- tion at some time, ln her three years at Benhi, Guidance Director Mary A. Lanigan's time has been in constant demand. Students are constantly re- assured that there is someone to whom they can go for consultation at any time, MISS MARY A.
