We have been given the opportunity to receive the special effects associated with the re- ception of the Sacraments: The peace and clearness of conscience received from Penance. the joy and unity with God from the Holy Eucharist. . LET IT BEG1 WITH ME l 5 Bishops' relief fund Students visit the Blessed Sacrament The chapel provides unlimited spiritual opportunities for the student body. Be- sides daily visits to the Blessed Sacrament, the chapel is used on special occasions, for the conferring of ashes, the blessing of throats and the meditation on the Stations of the Cross. During Lent a collection is held for the Bishops' Relief. The proceeds are usedlto help the world-wide needy, underprivileged children. Each homeroom competes in the campaign for the highest sum donated. It is but one of the many ways through which we can practice the virtue of charity. Blessing of throats 9 I
