BEA Play Each year the Bennett Education Association puts on a play to raise money for the Randy Rekemeyer Memorial Scholarship. This year they presented the play 'There Goes The Old Ballgamef, It was a melodrama about a woman who owned a baseball franchise and was about to lose it, to an overzealous manager. JH Cheerleaders The '78-79 JH Cheerleaders con- sisted of all upper classmen-eighth graders. They practiced before the season started every Wednesday night for an hour-and-a-half and after it began, cheering took the place of practicing. They rotated cheering for away and home games, when there was a split. Linda Meyer, their advisor commented, These girls are very agile and versatile. . . they practiced many hard, long hours and worked hard to improve themselves, and I thought they did a very good job throughout the sea- sonf' Left to right--Sheila Powers, Lonnie Hayes, Doreena Hillyer, Kim Welch.
