BOIVIBEFZ The Bomber staff had a busy year in 1978-79, by starting their advertising sales in May, meetings twice a month from 3:30 to 9:30 September thru December and every Wednesday January thru May plus a couple weeks into June to complete the deadlines. Little do people realize how much time and energy it takes to put a year- book like this together. This small group pictured below and often times JUST Editor Carla Wilson, Co-editor Ginny Hawkins and Sandy Hawkins, would spend six hours or more a week putting this book together. Time and energy is also spent selling ads and the '79 book itself. But all-in-all, itls alot of fun putting a book of many memories together, some good and others sad, to look back upon-for ourselves as well as fellow students of BHS. Librarians Student Librarians were kept busy this year helping Mrs. Walter keep the approximately 15,000 books and thousands of current and back issues of magazines in their proper places. The group took a field trip to Iowa City in April, where they visited the State University of Iowa Library and School of Library Science. They also visited the Iowa City Public Library, Horn Elementary School Library and West High School Library.
