MR. ROSARIO S. NOLA is the College Guidance Counselor this year. He attended S.U.N.Y.A.B. but received both his B.S, and M.S. from Canisius College. Gardening and golf are his two favorite pastimes. i r GUIDA CE The Guidance Department is one of the havens for perplexed Bennett students. This Department seeks to develop academic potential by channeling students' abilities into courses suitable to pursue higher goals and to help them make important decisions regarding future schooling and employment. Academic and vocational testing, along with the processing of college applications are a few of the Departments essential duties. Mr. Nola. the college counselor, is the coordinator of College Night, which gives Seniors the opportunity to meet with representatives of the colleges of their choice. MS. RUTH BLACKSTOCK is the Guidance Aide at Bennett. She received her Commercial Diploma from Medina High School. She feels that today's students are more mature and more interested in social problems. Ms. Blackstock enjoys reading biographies in her free time. MRS. ELIZABETH BAUDA, the Guidance Secretary, attended the Bryant and Stratton Business Institute. She states that her chief interest is People . and many students have found her to have a very pleasant personality. 23
