PRI CIPALS MR. LEONARD S. SIKORA, Principal of Bennett High School, has endeavored to serve all of the various in- tellectual and social interests of the student body. He is actively seeking ways to help Bennett respond to the challenge of changing circumstances and is cognizant of the need for each individual to become all that he is capable of being. Mr. Sikora earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the State University College of Buffalo and also received Master's degrees in Education and Secondary School Administration at SUNYAB. During his teaching and administrative career, he has always been willing to innovate programs for his students. With great pride during this Golden Anniversary year, Mr. Sikora announced the most ambitious of Bennett's development Programs. The Bennett High School Honors program which was introduced this year has been a dream of mine for the past four years. The program initiated will enable gifted students to develop to their fullest potential. It will also bring about a closer liaison with the University and Bennett. We have also initiated this year the Executive High School intern Program and the Health Career Program. The reception these programs have received from the students and the community has been tremendous. I sincerely hope that in the coming years Bennett will continue to be the leader in innovated educational programs in the city of Buffalo. 18 gl
